I have a few dates to update you about.
The first is the Irish Set weekend at Halsway Manor on 15 to 17th May.
This means there will be no set dancing at Whimple on Sunday 17th May, but it is possible to come along just for a ceili at Halsway. The Friday and Saturday night ceilis will start at around 8:30 pm, and the Sunday afternoon one will be at 2:30 pm. You can also come along for a whole day, but do get in touch with Halsway if you wish to do that to book in for meals. I’m not sure what accommodation is available for the whole weekend, but it is possible to stay locally and come along for all the activities.

We will be having a summer break from set dancing from the end of June to mid August.
The last Newton Abbot meeting will be on Wednesday 17 June, and there will be dancing at Whimple on Sunday 21 June. We will restart at Whimple on Sunday 16 August and at Newton Abbot on Wednesday 19 August.
There will be the chance to do set dancing in Devon at Sidmouth festival during the first week of August. Check the Sidmouth Folk Week web site for times and locations for that. https://sidmouthfolkfestival.co.uk/folk-dance/
