We are very pleased to be holding an autumn ceili in Newton Abbot on the afternoon of Sunday, 8th September. We will be welcoming Bear’s Den Dance Band to play for us. We will be dancing from 2 till 5 pm, upstairs at the Jolly Farmer, Newton Abbot, TQ12 2RB.
It’s quite a while since we had a ceili in Newton Abbot, so we are looking forward to it. The Bear’s Den are Gris Sanders on fiddle, Zingo Warde on pipes, Mike Cosgrave on keyboard and Loius Bingham on guitar and bazouki. They are all great musicians, and play lovely lively music for dancing.
The price of the tickets will be £10 per person.
It will be possible to have Sunday lunch in the Jolly Farmer before the ceili, or have a meal at one of several restaurants in Newton Abbot afterwards.
