In February we were worried in case the gales were going to cause Colyford to be cancelled. Today I was concerned in case the government requested us to avoid gathering together because of Corona virus. However, the advice was that we do not need to avoid socialising together, so Colyford will be “on” on Sunday 15th March.
We all know the advice about washing hands, which is particularly important at dancing events as we can’t avoid touching each other, but I don’t see the need to cancel altogether. Of course, if you personally feel differently, and would prefer to stay away then that is absolutely fine.
So for the time being, set dancing at Newton Abbot and Colyford will continue as normal, and Halsway Manor is still on too, unless the situation changes.
